Here are three examples of my best work from my tenure at The Rocket, published between January and December of 2022. The fourth, a historical feature on Butler County, Pennsylvania's Old Stone House, was written in October 2025. I plan to pitch my feature story to the Butler Eagle once the semester ends.

Using material from the Slippery Rock University archives and a face-to-face interview with Aaron Cowan, the final university-affiliated curator of the Old Stone House, I wrote a historical feature on the site's recent history.

Parking problems are nothing new
I created a survey for Slippery Rock University students, allowing them to vent their frustrations with parking on campus, and received dozens of responses. The historical element illustrates how the problem began and why it continues.
